Jenks Improves Playoff Position with Win Against Westmoore

The Jenks Trojans traveled to Moore Schools Stadium to take on the Westmoore Jaguars in a battle for playoff position Thursday night. Jenks was in second place in the 6A I District 1 with a 4-0 mark, just behind first place Edmond Santa Fe which has a 5-0 record. The Jaguars were in a third place tie with Broken Arrow, as both teams are 3-2 in district play going in to this last week of regular season competition.

The Trojans lead with defense

On Westmoore’s first possession, Jayden Patrick intercepted a Dayton Wolfe pass and returned it 24 yards for a touchdown to put Jenks on top 7-0.  Westmoore fought back.  Dayton Wolfe connected with Ja’Quan Richardson on a 20 yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 7.
